GET WET! Project

GET WET! Project is a 501c3 non-profit. It’s acronym stands for Groundwater Education Through Water Evaluation & Testing. It began in 2004 at the University of Maine and was designed to help local comunities with private wells manage the health of their drinking water sources. Private wells in most states have little to no regulations and even less enforcement. Using schools as the center of the community, GET WET! has grown to 7 states and is now incorporting public water with things like heavy metals and PFAs & PFOAs.
